WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS :)

That's right, last weekend was absolutly amazing. We had our soccer tournament, which was the end of competitive intermals for byu-idaho. My team we are the vikings and we started the Tournament last Thursday. Playing against the Hurricans we beat them with a score of, well actually i don't remember but we won! Then since we won that came we went on to Friday playing the Knights, who was the unbeat team of the season, well, we proved that wrong and knocked them out of the tournament with a score of 5-1. And you got it, since we won that game we continued onto saturday night game in the stadium ...THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! They said that this game was the most competitive soccer game they have ever seen at BYU-I...and yes it was very intense. We played agains the Bruins and well, we got the first goal during the first half. The second half came and about half way through that the bruins scored on me :( but not even five minutes after that we scored once again and then the bruins put one more in off of a free kick. In result the game ended in a tie leading us into a five minute over time and then PKs for the shootout. YES YES YES! we won the game in the shootout leaving us, THE VIKINGS, champions of the Fall 2009 competitive intermeral soccer BYU-I! we got a shirt and all that sweet victory pride..it was amazing!
